PARF was named after a very important person in our lives.

Brenda was the kindest soul with a smile that would light up the entire room and a laugh like no other. She never judged, loved fiercely and made you feel like you were the most important person in the world to her.

She lived her life with purpose and was a daily reminder of what it meant to truly love whole-heartedly.

On November 12, 2022 she lost her battle with cancer. And while our hearts miss her tremendously each and every single day, we continue to honour her through the work we do with every animal that graces our sanctuary.
