A Place of Connection

We get made fun of for doing it differently.

Eye Rolls. Sighs. Scoffs. Laughter. We’ve heard it all.

Those of us who push against the grain, determined to make choices for ourselves. Determined to do things differently because the system IS broken and we refuse to be a part of the problem. Determined to stand up and say ‘Enough’.

Those of us who seek out alternative ways. Holistic Ways. Who seek connection and community rather than status and power. Who believe in re-grounding into our roots, our history, and our intuition.

Who speak and listen to the Animals. To Mother Earth. To Source.

The world is broken. Our system is broken. Our hearts are broken. Our minds have been flooded with misinformation, lies, fear and doubt. We have been filled with insecurities and sadness. Told to pick sides. That there is such a thing as right vs wrong. If I am right then you are wrong. And if you are wrong then you are bad.

It makes absolutely zero sense. To my core, I do not understand it.

Mother Earth. Source. The Animals. They do not understand it.

I don’t know where we got lost along the way.

But I know how we find our way back.

Community is everything. It’s how we are intended to live. And it involves us all - humans and animals alike.

If I have a question, I turn to the land. If I am lost, I turn to the horses. If I seek curiosity, I turn to the fairies. If I lack joy, I turn to the goats. If I am hungry or ill, I turn to Mother Earth. If I feel sadness and loneliness, I turn to my community.

We are meant to live as one. Connected. Supported. In-Harmony.

It’s not insanity to believe that. It isn’t wishful thinking or naivety . It’s truth.

Our Sanctuary is transforming. But not in to something new. It is transforming back to what it once was and was always meant to be - a place of connection.
