Each horse here carries a story… and each one is stepping into a new chapter of safety, connection, and purpose. And this season, we’re inviting you into something truly beautiful:
108 sponsorship opportunities — one for every month of care our 9 horses will need in the coming year.
✨ Essentially we are looking for One person to sponsor one horse for one month.
Together, we can give each horse the full year of safety and support they deserve.
Sponsorship is $185 for your chosen month and covers essential care such as feed, farrier work, medical needs, enrichment, and training.
And here’s the holiday twist…
Every sponsorship is also an entry into a draw where one participant will receive 20% of the total funds raised.
A gift of giving, with a chance of receiving.
But more importantly, your sponsorship becomes a moment in that horse’s story — a month where you’re the one carrying them forward.
Each sponsor receives:
• A photo + story of the horse you supported
• A personalized update during your sponsored month
• Your name on that horse’s “Year of Care” wall

Help a Buddy Registration
Game for A Great Cause
Video gamers will commit to play video games and stream their gameplay for 16 hours starting at 10 a.m. MST on February 14, 2026 and ending at 2.a.m. MST on February 15, 2026. This is a virtual event and all game play is done from the comfort of your home.
Each gamer will select a participating animal charity that they wish to support and any donations made on behalf of that gamer or the Team (aka rescue) will be added to their final amount raised for their charity. Gamers are responsible for soliciting support of their marathon and encouraging donations from friends and family. There is a $20 registration fee per gamer. This fee will be counted as a donation towards the rescue whose team you choose to join and ensures that each rescue is automatically benefiting from your efforts even before the event begins!
Video gamers may sign up for the event any time from December 15, 2025 until February 7, 2026. All video gamers must commit to play video games and stream their gameplay for the duration of their marathon. Options are available to adjust the time of your marathon to a length of time that suits you, but keep in mind that the availability of our event organizers and group gaming tournaments will only be scheduled for the official times and dates listed.

About the Clinic
This hands-on clinic is designed specifically for horse owners who want to deepen their connection with their horse and support their well-being using non-invasive, light-touch techniques. Whether your horse is an athlete, a companion, or recovering from injury, these gentle approaches will be able to help enhance relaxation, mobility, and overall wellness in between visits from professional bodyworkers.
You’ll learn how to help promote your horse’s natural healing responses through subtle, strategic movements over muscles, tendons, and connective tissue using techniques that are easy to learn, incredibly gentle, and safe for all horse breeds and ages.
What You'll Learn:
✅ How to properly assess your horse
✅ How to “listen” to your horse’s body through touch
✅ Key maneuvers and touch techniques that you can safely apply between professional sessions

Join us for our 2nd Annual Horse-Daddy Calendar Fundraiser!
Hosted at the phenomenal Spotlight Cabaret just off Whyte Ave!
There will be an incredibly entertaining western-themed show, amazing silent-auction items up for bidding, a 50/50, a special calendar signing booth and so much more! Join us for a night in support of the horses here at PARF and the girls down at Wolf Dog Valley and help us raise funds to get us through the coming months!

Patrick Sullivan Clinic
In collaboration with Stride High Stables, PARF is honoured and beyond excited to welcome Patrick Sullivan with Gamilah Unbridled to the sanctuary. He will be working closely with our staff of volunteers and horses for a full day clinic, helping us continue our work with the rescues as he offers us an even deeper look into modern day natural horsemanship.

Lloydminster Pet Expo
Join us at the Lloydminster Pet Expo on October 14-15! Event will be held at the Exhibition Center located at 5521 49 Avenue, Lloydminster SK from 10-5 on Saturday and 10-4 on Sunday!
There will be multiple vendors, food trucks, activities and so much more!
Community Rescue Comedy Fundraiser
Three rescues within Alberta have decided to join forces and support one another in order to build community and, in turn, support more horses.
Join us Saturday, September 30 for a comedy night fundraiser hosted at the Bears Den. We will have a Silent Auction, Raffle Basket Draws, a 50/50, a night full of comedians and laughter followed by some amazing music to end off the night!
Tickets are $40/person
VIP Tickets $55/person
